BLADETRICKS CLASSIC MINI ICE PRY: THE ORIGINAL EDC WEDGE
I designed the Ice Pry in 2010. Ever since, it is my most successful work, defining much of the Bladetricks philosophy. I see countless others copying it, but this remains the original: a minimalist and truly foolproof EDC tool.
This Mini version is my answer for those who require the same pry and pick capability in a shorter, more discreet package for daily carry.
Core Purpose and Materials
My goal was simple: to create a versatile tool that would never fail me. The Classic Mini Ice Pry is the blueprint for tactical simplicity, now executed with enhanced toughness.
The design deliberately fuses essential functions: wedge, pry bar, ice pick, awl, flat screwdriver, and a last ditch tactical dagger. It is an item I carry in my own EDC/BOB urban kit.
For this batch, I used 1070 Spring Steel. This is a tougher alloy, and I carefully heat treated it in my electric kiln to provide superior resistance to impact and deflection while maintaining resilience.
The handle section is wrapped with hollow paracord, ensuring a clean, low-profile grip.
The Bladetricks Classic Mini Ice Pry only measures 155 mm (OAL) and is my personal standard for what a truly versatile and multi-purpose EDC tool should be.
